What is DTPBlender?
dtpblender is instinctive mediaworks' solution for fast and flexible creation of 2D graphics and layouts for web site design and print. After about one year of development and production use exclusively in-house, its creator, Alexander Ewering, has decided to release it to the public!
dtpblender borrows significant amounts of code from the great 3D modelling, animation and rendering package Blender.

Who needs DTPBlender?
dtpblender offers a slightly unusual approach to 2D graphics creation for print/website graphics, particularly suitable for people who are already comfortable with Blender and its user interface. It does not offer "professional" output like CMYK or Postscript.
Read this quote from its creator in order to understand better why and how dtpblender was born to life.
dtpblender is currently available as a release for both Windows and Linux, and as source code. Contributed binaries are always very welcome!
Before trying to do anything, you should read at least the introductory tutorial found in the Tutorials section!
